Straico has offered a variety of options for image generation, from dedicated sections (powered by Stable Diffusion) to specialized templates (powered by DALL-E 3 and Flux).
However, we want to take a step forward…
Maybe you’re familiar with “Web browsing” in Straico. This feature is part of the so-called capabilities, which enrich the prompt responses with information retrieved from external platforms. Well, we now provide new capabilities related to image generation and edition, so that you can create images directly in Straico’s chat section.
This, as simple as it sounds, provides some advantages compared to the previous approaches:
Image generation capability is context-aware. You can generate new images based or inspired in the previously generated ones.
You can use attached images as inspiration for generating new images.
You can — even not directly — specify some parameters in the prompt, such as aspect ratio and resolution of the image.
This blog post is precisely dedicated to make you aware of all the customization that you can set in your prompts for using all the image-related capabilities.
Click on the bulb-icon on the right-hand side of the prompt space: this will open the capability selector:
Make sure that the following capabilities are active in your capability selector:
Image generation (Ideogram v2.0)
Image remix (Ideogram v2.0)
Image upscale (Ideogram v2.0)
Generate
In order to generate an image using the capability, simply write a prompt with the magic words “generate an image…” followed by the description of what you want to generate.
For example, “generate an image of a flying cow”
It will generate an image like the following:
However, you can set more specific prompts to customize the image, such as:
Parameters
Aspect Ratio: Specify the image dimensions (defaults to 1:1).
Resolution: Select the quality and size of the image.
Color Palette: Set the mood and tone with predefined color schemes.
Style Type: Apply specific styles for more artistic output.
IMPORTANT: you cannot specify aspect ratio and resolution as parameters in the same prompt.
Aspect Ratios
This parameter can help to set a variety of ratios depending on the context that you need your image.
Sample prompt: “generate an image of a flying cow in <aspect_ratio>”.
Resolution Options
Instead of aspect ratios, you can select one of the multiple available resolutions for more specific image sizes. Check the list below:

Color palettes
Sample prompt: “generate an image of a flying cow with <name_of_palette> palette”.
Ember Warm and invigorating hues
Fresh Bright and lively tones
Jungle Earthy and natural shades
Magic Ethereal and secretive hues
Melon Sweet and refreshing palette
Mosaic A splash of vibrant colors
Pastel Gentle and soothing shades
Ultramarine Ocean-inspired blue tones
Style Types
Sample prompt: “generate an image of a flying cow in <style_name> style”
AUTO (default) Automatically selects the most suitable style based on context.
GENERAL A versatile style suitable for most subjects and themes.
REALISTIC Produces highly lifelike and natural images.
DESIGN Focused on design elements for graphics and visual interfaces.
3D Specializes in realistic 3D renderings of models and scenes.
ANIME Images in the distinctive style of anime and manga.
You can send a more detailed prompt, combining several parameters at once, in natural language. For example:
“Generate a whimsical image of a flying cow at sunrise with an aspect ratio of 16:9, using the Melon palette, and applying a realistic style.”
You can use alternative descriptions to get similar results: “With something resembling real images, create a 16:9 picture of a flying cow in jungle color palette at sunrise.”
Upscale
The Upscale feature maximizes image quality without losing detail or clarity. Provide your source image, and we’ll enhance it with our advanced algorithms. Consider the following low resolution image:
200 x 129 px
The following prompt generates an upscaled version of the image (if attached), with better resolution:
“upscale the provided image”
The resulting image looks like the following:
400×258 px
You can also upscale a previously Ideogram-generated image:
Remix
The Remix feature lets you generate new images inspired by existing images, allowing you to infuse new elements, moods, and styles.
In order to remix an image, you can:
Use previously Ideogram-generated images: You can use a prompt like “remix the image, so it has a jungle palette and anime style” to create a new image based a previously Ideogram-generated image.
Use an attached image: You can apply the remix feature to an attached image to create a new one inspired by the original one.
Remix Parameters
Aspect Ratio: Specify the image dimensions (default 1:1)
Resolution: Select the quality and size of the image.
Color Palette: Set the mood and tone with predefined color schemes.
Style Type: Apply specific styles for more artistic output.
Image weight: A number between 0 and 100, specifying how much inspiration will have the new image on the original one (default is 50).
The available values for these parameters are equal to those in the “Generate” capability.
IMPORTANT: you cannot specify aspect ratio and resolution as parameters in the same prompt.
Remix in action
In order to check how remix works, consider the following original image:
With the following prompt, you can generate an image inspired in the previous one:
“Use remix to draw a landscape with mountains, the sun in the back, and a person running at the bottom”
The result is the following:
You can evidently notice the inspiration of the new image from the previous draft image. However, if you want an image less like the original, you can specify a lower image weight to have related but varied results, for example:
“Use remix to draw a landscape with mountains, the sun in the back, and a person running at the bottom, in anime style. Image weight is 30”
You can still see the main elements from the original draft, but with a lot more style and details.
Remix changes in image
Another use of remix is to make slight changes in images, by keeping most of the original elements. For example, having the following image:
You can apply remix to change the color palette:
“remix the image, but applying a melon palette, and image weight of 90”
The image weight 90 helps you to keep the original image’s elements and style:
Some recommendations
Despite we try to make capabilities smart enough to detect your intentions, we strongly recommend you to write the specific feature that you want to use. For example, use explicit expressions like “generate an image…”, “remix the attached image…”, or “upscale this image…”. This will make the capability work as you expect.
Coin Usage
Every image generation or related capability uses 180 coins. However, some extra coins might be consumed, as some of the prompts are context-aware.
